(More customer reviews)This is great if you've "grown" your knife assortment from different brands/styles etc... or even if you have all the same brand but are buying it over time and haven't completed it yet.Whatever reason you have a bunch of knives but no knife block.And whatever your assortment of knives this makes it seem "custom fit" to your knives.
I also like the way it is seperated into two compartments so that I can have my most used knives front and center and others I can place towards the back.You aren't limited to the size of precut slots like tradional knife blocks.
The stainless version is a lot harder to find than the wooden one but I'm glad I waited until I located one,I think it looks great.
